md5 contents keep failing on upload |
Why will my contents for an upload not clear the md5 process?
I have created separate FLAC fingerprint file, created new FLAC fingerprint file, deleted metadata, and resubmitted multiple times.
the data set is path2005-03-18
I know for a fact it is all good. any ideas?

Re: md5 contents keep failing on upload |
flac ffp (fingerprint) file is not the same as an md5. if you want an md5 failure e-mail detailing what tracks fail, make and upload an md5 as it says in the md5 ...
www.md5summer.com does this well and for free.
as far as what is wrong with your show .. have you re-qued up the show to make sure all the files are fully on the server? anything weird in the ffp that might cause a snag? in the future include a direct link to the details' page of the show in question so we can help you easier..
http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=23553
even though you 'know for a fact it is good' on your machine, the full file-set isn't being uploaded to the archive servers and that's the problme... re-que the entire file-set and hoopefully the one track that isn't fully uploaded will fill in. if not, delet all the uploaded files and maybe start again? and include an md5 with the files (don't include the .txt in the md5 list) and that will e-mail you with the specific failed track. hope that gets you on track!
